Education and training

Healthcare institutions and organizations have limited educational and training content on Asian American issues and experiences, or how to include Asian Americans in overall workplace climate initiatives.

Curricula

Our team has extensive experience teaching and learning with a range of learners, from undergraduate to graduate and health professional students, to practitioners and healthcare leadership. Meaningful change requires sustained effort and education. Through our curriculum development work, we aim to disrupt ahistorical narratives, engage others and ourselves in critical self-reflection, and support others on their journey towards advancing racial justice.

We are currently developing a series of educational modules on Asian Americans, history and health, which we plan to make available online and for Continuing Education Credit.

Through our speaker series, blog, and newsletters, we work to educate ourselves on the historical and policy contexts that have contributed to the Asian American experience in healthcare today; on work that Asian Americans in healthcare are doing today to advance justice and counter oppression; and issues that affect members of our communities.
